Hello, welcome to my website, A View From.

My name is Peter Elliott. I am a photographer living in Weardale.

Drawing most of my inspiration while walking in The North Pennines. Constantly looking for pictures in the landscape. I aim to record some unique and nostalgic views from my travels. Then convey this artistic viewpoint, using a blend of digital and traditional photography. Focusing on this area of outstanding natural beauty. Capturing fleeting moments from this ever changing landscape. My portfolio contains photographs from Weardale, Teesdale, Waskerley moor, Alston moor and the C2C cycle route. The seasons form a common theme in many of my photographs. Which gives me the chance to update this portfolio from time to time.

I have a permanent display of my work in the Durham Dales Craft shop, within the Dales centre at Stanhope Co Durham. You can visit the shop which is open between 10:30 and 4:00pm 7 days a week. I sell a range of unique goods from ready framed photographs, photo greetings cards and bookmarks. Fridge magnets, keyrings, coasters and many more gifts using my images.
